SPARC Night meets every Sunday from 6pm until 8pm at St. Dunstan's Church. All youth grades 6 through 12 are welcome.
Disciples is our group specifically for 9th and 10th graders, focusing on the life and ministry of Jesus. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at St. Dunstan's Church
Apostles is our group specifically for 11th and 12th graders, focusing on integrating our faith with our daily lives and taking the Good News into the world. We meet Wednesdays from 7:45pm until 9:15pm at St. Dunstan's Church. Friends of SPARC
We're on week 16 of our devotionals. The vitamins that I passed out were correct, however, the verse to memorize was not. Instead of Matthew 5:16, the verse to memorize is Hebrews 11:1, which is considerably easier. Below are the daily readings for this week.

Our movie night fundraiser is Saturday night, June 27th. Suggested donation for the tickets is $8 before hand, and $10 at the door. We'll be offering complimentary childcare and selling concessions. This Friday night from 6pm-9pm we're running a babysitting service at the youth buidling to raise money for Rock N' Water. Bring any games and/or movies you may have that are kid appropriate. See you there!

Ways to Resist Temptation 1. The light of Christ in you (the Holy Spirit guiding you and giving you an option out) 2. The light of Christ in others (brothers and sisters in Christ who can help you resist) 3. The light of Christ in the Word (the scriptures which can illuminate your path and show you truth from error)
We spent some time last week talking about evangelism. Here's a cool video by Casting Crowns that drives home the need. Nuff said, just watch and listen.
Just wanted to let you know that CSTM will keep a blog for us on their website www.shorttermtrips.com under trip blogs at the top of the page. Our parents/friends/fellow youth people can keep track of what we're doing and even send us encouragement. Make sure they check it out!
On our mission trip we want to be Jesus' hands and feet, showing His love for those we come into contact with. Please pray that God will use us this way, and that we'll be willing vessels for his work.
